New York Public Library Uses Multimedia Mixers |
| The New York Public Library has several libraries throughout New York City. In many of these facilities, they offer computer-based language training courses for recent immigrants. To facilitate the interactive nature of computer-based language learning, the library system uses MM-54 Multimedia Mixers in its computer labs. The MM-54, allows for the connection of up to three headsets with microphones. This allows language students to listen to and speak to the computer for a complete interactive experience. With an integral volume control, audio levels can be adjusted immediately, without having to search for the computers software volume control slider.
